Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society Founded in 1939, northern New Mexico’s largest open-admission, no-kill shelter — serving more than 10,000 animals a year through adoption, affordable veterinary care (the Thaw Animal Hospital), spay/neuter programs, and community outreach. —  www.sfhumanesociety.org
