Description

Structural Integration is a hands on manual therapy that utilizes fascial manipulation to release chronic fascial tension in all parts of the body. Fascia is your body’s support network that surrounds muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, nerves and organs. It is not simply structural support. It is alive with sensory neurons that communicate with your central nervous system. The goal of Structural Integration is to improve function of the whole person by improving the biomechanical efficiency of the fascial system. Benefits you may experience include but are not limited to reduced pain, improved balance and coordination, increased range of motion, improved posture, breathing easier, and better well-being and vitality.

Education: BS in Physical Therapy, Ithaca College, DOM from International Institute of Chinese Medicine, Certificate in Structural Integration from UNM Taos, 36 years of continuing education.

What keeps me excited is curiosity and a continuous desire to learn more about human function, and the journey each unique person brings to a session.
