It’s said that home is where the heart is. But what happens when our body becomes overrun with toxicity to the point where we cannot sense or feel where our heart’s desire is? And, how do we know that this is affecting us negatively? What, in fact, does “complex multiple chemical sensitivity”, or MCS really entail (this is also known as MCS, or multiple chemical sensitivity)? With my mental health and trauma expertise, I include exposure to toxic people, attitudes, and news media to be on the sensitivity list as well.
While I truly believe that everything we experience is here to support our highest calling, I know firsthand how this calling involves cleaning up toxicity – emotional, mental, physical, and spirit – both in our actual brick and mortar home and also in the home of our body, where our soul dwells. When our soul is free to dwell in a happy body we see and make decisions from a place of clarity, honesty, and balance. We live in alignment with our purpose. As a clinician I have witnessed my clients’ transformation with their mental, physical, and spiritual detoxification. No one is left out.

For a growing number of people, consistent exposure to everyday things is literally making them mentally and physically ill, giving a whole new meaning to the term homesick. Our brain is biologically wired to adapt any novelty. We can also unknowingly adapt to the drama of the news and media.
